Creature has been in the works since the release of Night Beach in September of 2020.
After over a year and a half of development in which the songs on the album competed against each other for final placement and many tracks were cut, it’s finally ready.
The epic conclusion to the original trilogy of albums is complete. The album consists of 15 dark tracks. They manage to be broody and danceable at the same time. The title track has lyrics written and sung, in Spanish, by friend of the artist Alina Nichol.
The intro to the album was co-created by Falco Fury and TV composer Jake Weston. The two seamlessly blend together upon listening—just an indication of the craft and dedication that’s been put into the work over the past year and a half.
The album is centered around themes of death and sacrifice. But, why can’t we dance in the afterlife? With beefy drums, raw electronic distortions, abstract musical writing, and a concept years in the making, Creature is the dark dance electronica event you have been waiting for.
