Nocturnal Animals is the debut album by English artist Ueno Nights.
Nocturnal Animals is the soundtrack to a night of decadence.
The album kicks off with the laid back, early evening vibe of debut single ‘9PM In Tokyo’. Layers of synth over a disco groove set the tone for the album, 10 songs that take you on a voyage through the night, each song reflecting a different stage of the evening.
Like any good night the intensity varies, from blissed out Ibiza, to trip hop, to almost industrial Berlin style Synthwave.
By the time you reach closer ‘4AM In Tokyo’ you have travelled full circle and are back to a laid back groove bookending the album. Where has the evening taken you?
